Step 1 - PICK A GAME!

SAME DAY GAMES
"BRIEF ME" - (What happened and why it's important?)
1)  Each students click on a date link below based on the category they or the teacher select.
2)  Each student gets 5-10 minutes to pick an event and be ready to brief the class in 1-2 minutes why it's important.
3)  From all the briefings, the class should pick the top 5 important events by the end of class.

"WHO'S THE GREATEST"
1) Same instructions as "BRIEF ME" only the students should pick someone born on/died on the date based on the category selected.
2) Have the class pick the top 5 most pivotal or important characters at the end of class.

WEEKLY GAMES
"SLIDE SHOW"
1)  Students spend Day 1 picking a topic or bio based on the category selected and gathering info.
2)  Day 2 allows for preparation of PowerPoints (5-7 minute presentations).
3)  Presentations should draw from 3-4 references.
4)  Days 3-5 allows for 5 minutes presentations by each student up front.

QUARTERLY GAMES
"SLAYING THE DREADED REPORT DRAGON"
1)  Students pick topic or bio based on category selected.
2)  Students churn out the dreaded 5-10 page large report or essay! 
3)  Teacher picks requirements (number of references, etc.)!

Step 2 - PICK A CATEGORY! 
"Happy Birthday" - Each student must pick an event or biography from the day they were born.
"Baby Bottle" - Each student must pick a person born on this date in history.
"Six Feet Under" - Each student must pick a person who died on this date in history.
"Lazy Days" - Event or bio should be picked from the summer months (June-August).
"Quarterback" - Event or bio should be picked from the current quarter of the year.
"This Week" - Event or bio must be picked from the seven calendar days of the current week.
